Photos you’re actually proud to use
A relaxed London photo shoot for people who need better pictures of themselves—for LinkedIn, dating profiles, social media, or simply because the photos they have now don’t feel like them.
No stuff studio setup. No forced posing. No awkward “act natural” nonsense.
Just a walk around London, calm direction when you need it, and a set of photos that finally make you think…
Portrait shoots from £160 · Based in London, the U.K. · Events available on request
8-year-old photos aren’t doing you any favours
Maybe your LinkedIn photo is years out of date.
Maybe your dating profile is surviving on selfies, cropped group shots, and one half-decent holiday photo from 2018.
Maybe your website, founder profile or social media presence needs you to look credible, but not like you’ve been dragged into a corporate headshot factory.
So you keep putting it off. Not because you don’t care.
Because getting photos taken feels awkward.
You don’t know where to go, how to stand, what to do with your hands, or how to look relaxed when someone points a camera at your face.
That’s exactly what this shoot is designed around.

A photo shoot that feels more like a walk than a performance
We’ll meet somewhere in London, walk between a few good spots, and take photos along the way.
- You don’t need to know how to pose…
- You don’t need to become a different person…
- And you definitely don’t need to pretend you’re suddenly comfortable in front of a camera.
I’ll give you simple directions when it helps: where to stand, where to look, when to move, what to do with your hands—without turning the whole thing into a weird modelling exercise.
We aren’t going for “perfect”.
We’re going for photos which look natural, flattering and useful.
Photos you actually feel proud using.
Natural direction. Relaxed shoots. Retouched selects.
What better photos can actually do for you
Look more credible before you’ve said a word
Good profile photos make you easier to trust. Whether someone finds you on LinkedIn, your website, a speaking page, or a company bio, your photo is often the first signal they get.
It should look like you in a high-effort state, not an afterthought.
Make your dating profile feel like you
The best dating photos are not the ones where you look like someone else.
They’re the ones where someone can immediately imagine enjoying a drink, a walk, a conversation, or a day out with you.
Natural beats overproduced.

Keep the memories of people, details, reactions, speakers and candid moments for a lifetime.
Do you think you aren’t “photogenic”?
I promise, nobody is “bad on camera”.
They’re just used to seeing bad photos of themselves.
Harsh lighting. Weird angles. Frozen smiles. Rushed selfies or cropped group shots.
They conclude, “I’m just not that photogenic”…but this is rarely true.
Most people don’t need a dramatic makeover or a list of modelling instructions. They need a calmer setting, better light, a bit of movement, and someone behind the camera who knows when a moment is starting to look natural.
That’s how I approach portrait shoots. I’ll give direction when it helps, but I’m not going to turn you into someone else.
I’m going to help you show yourself in the best possible light—exactly as you already are.

Behind the camera…
I’m Tommy, a London-based photographer.
I’ve been taking pictures of people and events for over a decade, going all the way back to the first time I was a teenager and my parents trusted me by putting a camera into my hands for the first time.
I’m interested in photos that people actually use, not the kind that sit in a forgotten folder because they technically look fine but don’t feel right.
I’ll help you look like yourself, but better rested and better lit (not to mention less haunted by the question of…”What do I do with my hands…?”)
Need photos from an event?
When you put time, money and energy into an event, the photos should do more than prove people turned up.
They should help people understand what it felt like to be there.
The conversations. The atmosphere. The speakers and the reactions. Small moments that make the event look alive.
I also photograph small events in London: talks, workshops, parties and community events. The aim is simple:
Your event only happens once. The photos should keep working long after everyone goes home.

Stop waiting until you “need” a better photo.
By the time you need one, you’re already late.
Book a relaxed London shoot and get an up-to-date set of photos you actually love using!
